Welcome to Al Qalam Arabic School

Finding the right place for children to learn their deen and Arabic is important to every parent. At Al Qalam Arabic School, we aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment that combines quality teaching with a convenient location for local families.

Based in Sparkbrook, we run Saturday classes for children aged 6 to 14. We’re less than a 10-minute walk from the train station and close to several local mosques, making it easy for families to fit learning into their weekend routine.

Our lessons cover Arabic, Quran, and Tajweed, with a strong focus on correct pronunciation (Makharij) and building confidence in recitation from an early stage. Children are taught by experienced educators, most with over 10 years of classroom experience, who know how to keep lessons engaging and effective.

We keep fees affordable for the community, with a 10% sibling discount available for families with more than one child.
